it’sagift from god is a digital animation video featuring a 3D avatar of my head morphed with a hi res scan of olivia newton john’s lip syncing along to Crispin Glover’s impersonation of Sean Penn’s impersonation of Groovin’ Gary’s impersonation of Olivia Newton John from the cult classic film trilogy The Beaver. It is an examination of the desire and mimetics involved in drag, impersonation and the desire to be someone else.
